Amazing exercise in world-building which dabbles in fun murder-mystery and conspiracy-busting Sherlock Holmes & Watson style buddy cop drama.
Special shoutout to any neurodivergent folks who will read this and find out that not only both main characters are either autistic coded or almost fully confirmed autistic/neurodivergent (Ana is autistic, fight me, and Din is dyslexic/autistic-by-graft), but their neurodivergence isn't a “blessing” or a “curse”, it's just who they are. Fucking. finally.

This series continues to impress me with the world building and character development it is showing. Crazy that a book with an AI with a foot fetish, a talking cat, a daddy with anger issues, and an ever growing cast of absurd characters can still be super emotional and deep. Matt Dinniman you stinky genius.
