Eh.

Excellent. Sweet and a little spicy and a little salty. Crisp writing. Great characters. Simple lives, simple pleasures - and annoyances (moms, nosy neighbors, etc..) Usually things made right by a nap, or ice cream, or a beer.

I stayed up wayyy too late last night finishing this :)

I really enjoyed it! I especially liked the end not being tied in a neat relationship bow. Also the imperfect protagonist... I liked how you're rooting for her and also recognizing that she's getting a lot wrong as she muddles through (as we all do...)

I really liked the parts about Tiger Woods

The rest of it was just a trudge through abuse and fraught sexual identity

Different from what I usually read. Writing was sort of sophomoric. Made me think a lot about Percival Everett and Erasure.
