See allI really enjoyed the premise of a “faux” medium who turns out to be real, and the cat and mouse game between her and the police. The suspense built fairly well the first half of the book, and kept me engaged. However, I felt the ending was a bit rushed which–I think–lessened the impact of the “twist.” That being said, I still enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it!
This was one of those books that pulled me under its spell and WOULD NOT let me go. I don't want to dig too deeply into the story, because anything I say will be a spoiler, but I loved the story telling technique of flipping between Mia's memories and her reality, and found myself questioning her sanity right along with her. I can't count the number of times I wanted to lash out at her family for their reaction (but, who could blame them, right??), especially at her mother's constant attempts to push her toward her fiance Gray. This book left a lasting impression, and definitely earned its place on the “read again” shelf.

I haven't read many MM romances, but I absolutely LOVED this book. There's just enough angst as the two main characters fought against what would inevitably happen between them.
I adored both leads, and completely loathed Drew's narcissist girlfriend. I wish I could say I was surprised when she dropped that bombshell on Drew, but nope. That chick is nothing but trouble, and I can't wait to see how that situation plays out in part 2.
There's one thing that keeps running through my head, even weeks after reading it–the ending. Specifically, the team's captain repeating “Baby?” when he spots Drew approaching Aron's hotel room.
I cannot wait for the sequel. I need it!!
The perfect conclusion to Drew and Aron's story! Their chemistry is off the charts, and I loved watching them find their way back to each other, despite all the obstacles in their way. The romance between Aron's father and Drew's mother was especially sweet, as was how supportive they were of Drew and Aron's relationship. A great read!!
How about not listing a release date until YOU ARE ACTUALLY READY TO RELEASE THE BOOK?!?!?!
