This book was everything I never knew I needed.
It was so beautifully written, atmospheric, and magical.
It was heartbreaking from beginning to end, yet it was somehow also hopeful.
I love the way V.E. Schwab dealt with Henry's mental health. She really described it in a was that deeply spoke to me.
This book is now one of my absolute favorites, and is definitely a story I will be re-reading in the future!
I know for a fact that I will never forget Addie Larue and her story. I truly feel that this book is now a part of my soul.
I first heard about this book through Booktube, and it immediately intrigued me! All I heard was queer, fae, and quests, and knew I had to pick it up! And I'm so glad it lived up to my expectations and more!
.
I will say at first I was a little iffy on the multiple perspectives, I was really enjoying Rags' perspective over all of the others in the beginning, but the farther I got in to the story, the more the other characters grew on me!
.
I loved how magical the atmosphere was, it really immersed me in to the world!
.
My favorite characters were Rags and Shining Talon, and One! But I also really loved Inis and Somhairle's characters as well! They were all so well rounded!
.
Overall this book just brought me so much joy, and I can't wait to see what any future books hold for these characters I've grown to love!
I would definitely recommend picking this book up if you love fantasy and crazy adventures!
I really enjoyed the unique storyline, I thought it was an interesting take on a Cinderella retelling! I just felt like the story was really rushed, and I think it would have been better if it was longer. I also wished there was some more world building, and character development, but overall it was a great read! It reminded me a lot of Girls of Paper and Fire by Natasha Ngan! I would recommend giving it a shot, if you're looking for a quick fantasy or retelling, or if you enjoyed Girls of Paper and Fire!
I really appreciated that all of the characters acted like realistic teenagers, and how they all had their own flaws. It was great seeing all of the family aspects and how close Nishat is with her sister. There was also some great character development, not only in Nishat but in her parents as well. It really showed how parents aren't perfect either, and how with more information someone is given on a certain topic, their opinions can change. I absolutely flew through this book, and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a light read!
* trigger warnings (the author does make a note of them at the beginning of the book)- racism, homophobia, bullying, and a character being outed.*
I've never liked audio books, but I heard the audio book for this book was really good. So I gave it a shot, and I can now say that I love audio books! I will definitely be reading the rest of the series by audio book as well! It was such a fun read, and funny as well! Would definitely recommend! One of my favorite books I've read this year!
4.5This was so cute! Fake dating and enemies to lovers are two of my favorite tropes, so I loved how they were both included! I really enjoyed all of the family relationships, especially Scottie's relationship with her sisters! The only thing I wasn't a fan of, was all of the drama, I don't usually like too much of it in books.I would recommend this to anyone looking for a cute, quick read!Trigger warning for some homophobic commentsThank you to NetGalley for providing me with an E-arc in exchange for my honest review*
This was so cute! It reminded me of a mix between Red, White, and Royal Blue, I Wish You All the Best, and Running With Lions! I loved all of the characters, and Julián's relationship with all of his friends!
I can't wait to own a copy!
Trigger warning for, homophobia, physical abuse, and mental abuse

This was amazing!! I loved the bisexual representation, it also handled biphobia so well!
I loved Darcy's relationship with her sister, and her sister was also amazing!
Darcy's character growth throughout the book was really well done, and I love the person she became in the end!
This is definitely one of my new favorites, and I would recommend it to anyone!
I was really pleasantly surprised by this book! I absolutely loved it! Danyal was such a loveable main character, and I loved his relationship with Bisma, as well as Bisma's relationship with her sister! I would definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a fun, family focused emotional read!

I really enjoyed this book, it was cute, fun, and a quick read! It's the perfect book to read in the summer time, or whenever you need a summery book to brighten your mood! I haven't read many books about dance, but I definitely want to after this! I love reading books set in different countries, it was really nice to learn some French while reading!

I enjoyed this one even more than I was hoping to! I loved the characters relationship, and how close their families were! I honestly wish it was a series, so I could read more about Sidney and Asher!
*4.5
This was so adorable! I love how it was lighthearted, but also dealt with heavier topics. I also really loved both of the main characters!
It reminded me a lot of Heartstopper, which I loved!
I would definitely recommend picking this up for a cute, quick read!

This was a dnf for me. I just couldn't get in to the characters, and was mixing up the different perspectives early on in the book. I haven't read any wedding planning centered books until now, and they're just not for me. But if it sounds like something you would like, you should give it a try!
