This was a mindfuck; I loved it. At first I didn't think I'd like it because of where I thought the plot was going, but fortunately it went somewhere else completely. It had me whisper screaming at some parts and crying from others.
I think it's best to go into this book blind and enjoy the wild ride. It's very long, but it allows you to really sink into the story and get to know the characters. A few little details were unrealistic in the sense that things just don't work that way IRL but they were small enough that I could let it go and enjoy the story.
