3.75⭐️ This book was very emotional, sweet and cute. I'm a sucker for second chances and this one was good. It was nice reading about these two characters actually giving it another shot. Truly trying and putting in their all. And seeing other characters rooting for them as well was sweet. It's hard to believe that the 2 main characters ever split but things happen. Thank you to Netgalley, the wonder author, Tarah Dewitt and publisher for giving me the opportunity to read this beautiful story!

The constant use of the word troll... icky
The constant tears coming out of scarlett's eyes during intercourse which is every single time... why??

This was such a sweet read. Baseball sport romances are probably my favorite, and this one had some deeper parts. I really enjoyed that. Chris was such a sweet guy and so down to earth. And Daphne was funny to me. I liked her personality. I definitely recommend this book if you're looking for a relaxing read that's just a great time. Thank you Netgalley and Berkley Publishing Group for giving me an eArc in exchange for a review.

I can genuinely say that this is one of the best Christmas novellas I've read. I'm not big on gore but it was easy for me to get past it because I was so curious on what was going to happen next! The relationships between everyone is very entertaining and might I add tense! It's fast paced, messy and very steamy. I 100% recommend this novella to people who have no triggers and want to enjoy a dark Christmas read. With that being said PLEASE check the trigger warnings! P.s. the ending kinda surprised the h*ll out of me.

I'd like to thank B. Rae and her PA, Nicole for sending me an eARC in exchange for my review.
Reading Tainted Trust had me feeling like I was watching a high school teen drama tv show. It was extremely entertaining. There were some deep topics discussed in this book. Like topics of anxiety, grief, and acts of unwanted advances.
Axel is a strong young woman who has a rough childhood and is forced to move in with her aunt. She finds it hard to trust people and keeps her heart locked away from every guy. That's until she meets Roman.
Roman is your perfect golden retriever book bf. I love that he has a strong bond with his mother. He treats Axel like a queen! And this guy knows how to approach Axel when she's having anxiety attacks and helps walk her through them.
I adored Axel's friends and the close relationship she has with them.
Now, the one thing that kind of made me sad was Axel's relationship with Tatum. I wish he hadn't been written to be that type of character because Axel already has so much betrayal from her father and she suffers from a lot. I'd hate to see another person that she deeply cares for be kicked out of her life.
But on a good note, I was not expecting that ending. That little cliffhanger has me wanting more. Overall, this story was cute, hot with some drama, and amazing anxiety rep. I can't wait to see how these characters grow in the next one.

A big thank you to NetGalley and Kodansha Comics for an eARC in exchange for an honest review. Overall, I found Home Office Romance to be well written and very cute. This cuteness in this book is mundane and not unrealistic which I very much enjoyed. It was also nice to see how differently Nokoru and Natsu lived during the pandemic. The characters were quite different, but they fit together perfectly. Nokoru being introverted while Natsu seemed a bit more outgoing. For me Nokoru was very easy to relate to. He had the same worries and thoughts that I've had myself. If you're looking for drama free romance between two neighbors during the pandemic, then I highly recommend this.

I wasn't very surprised by the ending up until you find out she has a whole family and cheated on her s/o. That was super disappointing and dropped my rating. Cheating is my biggest book ick.

This went from a 3.5 to a 2. You're telling me that homegirl lost like half of her family and for her wish she wished to bring back a guy??? And that wish came true?? Idk I think I would've wish for my family and friends back lol.

DNF because it's just repetitive filler. Where's the plot because I only seem to find it at the end of the book?

The fact that you live in the main characters head 95% of the time and she's very repetitive made this book a little hard to get through. This book isn't very long but it felt like it was. That lack of communication was bad. No seriously, there's very little dialogue.

Yeah I didn't actually guess the ending like I thought I did. I was almost on the right path at one point until I excused that thought and didn't think about it again. Absolutely loved this book!

I was super nervous to read another Ana Huang book after reading the first two books in the twisted series and not really liking them. But I ate this book up! I can't wait to read the next one!

3.5 I didn't care so much for the 2 day insta love

I think it's safe to say that I'll love every book Freida McFadden writes

Changed my rating from a 4 star to a 5 star because I think about this book all the time and I know I'll definitely read it again.

Why would you write an ending like that??? I can't stop crying.

I love this book so much but I also hate the ending so much. And although I hate the ending I also love it. I'm just confused on how to really feel about it right now and I'm still crying after just finishing it.

On another note, this is a book that I'll always keep recommending.

Ps. The story is heavy and will pull at your heart strings so please be weary before going in.

Ps.Ps. Also, please be aware of TRIGGERS! There's a lot of talk on depression and suicidal thoughts/tendencies.

It was wonderful to be taken back to the world of twilight and experience it through someone else's eyes. I was feeling that the book could've been shorter by taking out Edwards repetitive thoughts and worries. But now thinking back it really shows how one's mind can really pull at you and cause that constant anxiety and worry. In my opinion it gave him almost a mundane personality and It was really sweet getting to look inside his mind and to see all of the love that he has for Bella. Anyways, I'm sure that I'll read this again sometime in the future.

I tried so hard to hold back my tears in the end but I couldn't and so I sat here and cried like a baby. I love it. This book is truly wonderful.

I wrote a whole review for this book and accidentally erased it here so here I am again. I'm giving this book 1.5. I'm not hard to please when it comes to books but this wasn't it for me. The story was a bit scattered and it got confusing at times. Also, the ending wasn't well explained and the whole story seemed rushed. This book just had so much potential and could've been a remarkable story. Throughout the whole book I found myself bored or confused and would stop reading but I finally pushed through it so I could write this review. I'm not great at reviews and I don't like to be harsh so I gave this book a 1.5 and that's because I adore Marlowe the dog.

I honestly felt like giving this book a three star but I felt it a little harsh because it really is a beautiful story. I just felt that there wasn't much excitement happening throughout the story. Don't get me wrong it was entertaining throughout but the mystery in the story is dragged out until the last few chapters. Then everything is quickly spilled. I was also expecting a better fight between two of the characters at the end but there wasn't much of a fight and it quickly came to an end. With all of that said I love the book and I'm looking forward to starting the second one.
