This book was one of the shorter ones I’ve read/listened recently but it carried so much weight and raw emotion that it felt like forever. It was lovely. Less so a story, but a tape recounting a future ending for us in another lifetime. When the world ends, I’ll listen to this rather than the radio.

The pacing of this book took me a little while to get used to but once I did I was really able to immerse myself into the world and see through Fitz’ eyes.

The journey of Darth Vaders beginning of losing Anakin was great. His eventual accepting of his physical limitations was fascinating to hear about since it’s such an important part of his rage induced power.

love it ! A great introduction into the wheel of time universe. Loved the conflict of the four main characters and their willingness to fight towards the end. Looking forward to the rest of the series !!

the world building was great and super immersive. What really hooked me was the 1st person POV and really made me feel closer to Piranesi

thrilling journey from end to end filled with vital ethical dilemmas and character development!

This was gut wrenching, and I loved every page of it. The complex magic system and its morally bankrupt nature. It was new to me this portrayal of the ethics of magic in fantasy literature.

This was my book of 2025. It was deeply amazing in terms of character driven storytelling and the world-building in a stand-alone novel was very immersive.
