A Court of Mist and Fury

Overall I did enjoy this book however it took me a while to finish. Similarly to the first book in the series I really enjoyed the beginning 150 and last 150 pages of the book but I was a bit bored in the middle of the book. I think this is why it took me almost three weeks to finish the book. Even though I found myself bored the in the middle, the climatic and unexpected ending really drew me in. While I was in the middle of the book I was considering not reading the next book in the series, however after finishing it and seeing how the story ended I feel I must continue to read this series to find out what happens next. Sarah J. Maas is definitely talented at writing captivating endings and I am hoping that the next book in the series will keep me more engaged in the story throughout the whole book.
