Interesting and well-written retelling of Cleopatra's life, loves, and the political intrigues she had to deal with....unfortunately it was way too long and I lost interest about four hundred pages into the book.

Imagine the gods of Greek mythology living in a rundown London townhouse and dealing with waning powers, too many years of sameness, and the possible impending end of the world. Throw into this two mortals who should have stayed away, the god of sun who can't handle rejection, and Zeus gone mad...oh, and an interesting vision of the underworld and Hades. And that's only some of the madness that this book so entertainingly portrays.

I didn't expect to enjoy this book but couldn't wait to see what happened next. Definitely pick it up if you're in the mood for a good read that's a bit unusual...

Great story. Slow start but couldn't put it down once I started.

Even better than book one and plenty of romance, suspense, and surprises. Great read and am on book three now.

Really great and different story about Lucifer, what he's been doing all these years and his second “fall” after falling in love with a mortal. Great writing, characterization, and pacing; I didn't want to put it down.
