At the beginning of the book I liked how the author put a playlist of the songs that I have had listened to back in the 90's and some of the bands that I liked from back in the day. I loved how the setting was in the 90's I grow up in that era and the best era ever and the best one and I love the most my favorite boy band of all time was mentioned not 1, not 2 but 3 times thru out the book was the backstreet boys. And the toys that were mentioned and Lisa Frank took me back to my childhood and I loved Cliff from the beginning of this book he was loving, funny, caring, sweet he was nothing like that asshole Allen who cheated on Michelle but the only thing I didn't like about Cliff is when Emily would bad mouth her mother who doesn't care about Emily or wanted to talk to her when Tracy would call only would talk to Brittany and had a relationship with Brittany he needed to lay off of that. Michelle who I didn't care for in the book she would give Cliff a cold shoulder and why is it any Michelle's business of why Cliff wasn't out dating and who to say who his type was that annoyed me with Michelle when she would do something like that but I still gave this book 5 stars.
