This would be pretty easy to update to modern times. The mystery would not need to be changed at all. The cultural differences are small compared to other kids books from this long ago.
I enjoyed it, recommended.

Clever and surprising adventure. Illya and Napoleon sounded very true to the show.

I thought about a dozen of these were funny enough to get a laugh, quite a few were funny enough for a smile but most were pretty dull. I think my daughter is regretting getting me this

Lots of interesting pictures. Learned a few things about the history and production about ST:TOS
Recommended for all ST fans

Everything is unimaginably fast/powerful/large/smart/beautiful, etc. The hero is the greatest human to have ever existed, you can tell from examining his skeleton.
So it's kind of tedious but sort of fun. You can get it from Gutenberg or Archive so for a free books iy's OK

Really interesting stories written by women with a long history of working for Disney. I learned a little more about how Disney works and that there are several ways to solve problems with your co-workers,
Highly recommended.

I won't be reading the other books in the series. This wasn't bad it's just that the endless fire fights and military acronyms and the narrator character saying”yut” all the time was too much for me. If you like military fiction with a little alien invasion in it, then give this a try.

Kind of tedious. The guys get captured, beaten/tortured, escape, get a clue and then it repeats. While gallium arsenide is used to make electronics, it doesn't have the magic properties we see in this book

Great story, a little hard to follow in some places and a few times I thought I had skipped a page

Fun book about most things nerd. It's especially interesting because I was reading it in 2022 and it was released in like 2004. I'm not much of a gamer but I see a lot of myself and my friends in this book

A good adventure ans a clever use of the titular glue. Also, for the first time Mrs. Dunn has a life outside of the kitchen and an important part in the story.

A nice trip to London, a surprising conclusion and another really stupid blunder by Danny.
This has actually become a tedious character flaw in Danny.

A pretty good adventure but a little long. It would work still today.
It's also a decent origin story for the club. But I would recommend the other books first.

Some great stories in here, especially “Superiority”. Highly recommended.

Delightful book. Whether you have read a Jeeves and Wooster book or not, you should read this,
Very British, be sure to have your phone handy to look up some terms and slang.

As far as what non-expert people knew about computers back then, this is pretty good.
It shows the kids entering data into the computer that it will use to solve problems and they discover that you can't use a computer to solve your problem unless you have a very good understanding of the problem.

Pretty up to date for being over 50 years old. The automatic house has the equivalent of a Roomba and other current gadgets.

Great adventure, straight up science fiction.
The smallifying machine is kind of a cross between the shrink ray from “Honey, I Shrunk The Kids” and the transporter from Star Trek

Kind of 7 Samurai on Mars. And entertaining adventure.
