90% of the horror was seeing a woman walking past all the huge red flags to her own demise. I liked the ending.

This is basically the same plot as Just a bit Bossy by Alexandra Hazard, except Nate was likeable and didn't act like a 12-year-old all the time.

Also, proposing during Shilo's graduation is a red flag. Why would Ryann take away from his spotlight? Nah.

This was really entertaining; it had mystery, tension, romance, drama. I didn't give it 5 stars because I hate cliffhangers.

There's this uncanny element to it, which I find very interesting. However, I wouldn't say there's horror here, discomfort at most.

Other than that, this book just reinforced the notion that religion is political and nonsensical.

I also cannot understand how women would want to be a part of a religion that deems the inferior and useless.

Raine was as an asshole 80% of the time so I don't know.
