Hmm. Sadly, I was left underwhelmed. Not sure how to describe this one. It didn’t feel like I was reading a work by Stephen King. It read more like a draft; jotted down ideas that weren’t expanded upon. There were a few things happening at once and I kind of didn’t care how any of it got resolved because all the pieces felt rushed and underdeveloped. Perhaps it’s intentional and will pick up in Book 3, I hope.
