A flawless masterpiece. This book leaves me with too much to say and not enough ways in which to express all the emotions and thoughts it stirs within me. The characters just leap from the page, the storyline is compelling and exquisitely written — not one wasted word.
And King proves yet again that sometimes the most frightening of tales doesn’t have to include excessive blood and gore. Sometimes the creeping dread in having to battle your moral dilemmas is frightening enough. The true horror lies in having to live with the decisions you’ve made.
