It was a cool idea and I do love a good Dystopian. A little mysogenistic here and there. And Guy and Millie's relationship was the most dry and unloving marriage ever. But overall quite good

A great sequel to the first book. I didn't like how awkward their relationship was at the start and I also didn't like how much Jamie's character changed. Andrew was right, he went a guy who couldn't bring himself to kill a deer, to a guy who went on a murderous revenge mission. i really loved all the new characters. Specifically The Kid, Rocky Horror, Niki, Taylor and Daphne (rip girl). also only Andrew could get his arm eaten by an alligator. his character stayed the same ,thankfully. He's still a funny, immature-in-a-good-way, "cynical bitch". Loved this book. Definitely recommend.

I love this book. Easily one of my favourites. I like how believable the setting was and I love the characters. Jamie seems very sweet and Andrew is very entertaining. I also like how not too dramatic the discovery of Jamie's sexuality was. I think many books would have dragged it on for chapter after chapter but it was kept short and sweet: "Ive had girlfriends but rn I like a guy. Can I like both? Ig i can. Cool". I love how even though the book is very dark, the author still found a way to make it funny, "here that? They got lady marines in these parts!". I do wish I knew a bit more about Andrew's backstory. It was touched on but he rlly didn't talk about it very much. Which makes sense but still. Love this book xx

I spent a lot of time just looking at the cover art. But I mean seriously, just look at it! How cool is that! And don't get me wrong, I love my friends but there is no way IN HELL that I'm digging red algae out of their flesh for them. She found some good ones.

Okay, if I'm totally honest, I thought this was heading down Gay Romance Lane. Then we had a bit of a gender switch. Can't say I wasn't a bit disappointed with that:( but I still loved it.

When I heard the sisters names, May, June and August, I was like "if there isn't some long lost sister called July, istg". And there actually was lol. I was heartbroken when May committed suicide. I could kind of see it coming but still.

I really liked Finch's character. I liked how when you read Violet's chapter, he seemed like such a chill guy, funny, a little nuts. And then in his chapter, you saw how horrible he really feels and how much he needs help-but it doesn't come.

I liked the writing style a lot. In my opinion, Jon Green made Hazel's character very likable and funny. I can't believe a book this depressing managed to make me laugh. "Congratulations! You're a woman! Now die."

I read this when I was older than the age group the book is directed at but I still liked it. I liked the story and I liked reading as Jack and Ella's relationship slowly got better because they were forced to be alone together a lot.

I liked the story but, if I'm honest, I found the characters a little... unlikable. I didn't like Nate or Bronwyn, I didn't mind Cooper and Addie, and everyone else I've forgotten.
