This book was so beautiful. The illustrations were so good. Realistic but magical at the same time.
My son's daddy (my husband) grew up in New York and Central Park was his playground. This book brought up the memories of his childhood and he happily told them to my son as he read this book to him. His stories about Central Park matched this book. I think he enjoyed this book way better than my son. We also immersed our reading by watching videos and saw photos of each spot mentioned in this book. On the weekend following the reading of this book, my son's uncle video called him while he was strolling around the Central Park and showed each spot too. My son (and my husband) was so happy and safe to say they also loved this book.
