Whoa! I was slightly unimpressed for the first half of this book but then it really gathers steam and grows into itself. So good!

These books by Monroe are not hugely compelling or original story-wise but I like the pace and feel of the interactions between these women who hang out on Isle of Palms and rescue turtles.

Well everyone who said this was delightful 10 years ago — they were right! So excited to to have all the Carriger series to catch up on now!

This book had a lot going on. Good but maybe did not live up to all its potential.

I liked the idea of this book but was pretty disappointed in it.

I didn't finish this but I don't plan to go back to it. I like charming mysteries just shy of cute, with a tendency toward melodrama. This one was too far into the “cute” zone for me.

I really loved this. Great story and setting!

I technically did not finish this but definitely got the gist. The author is cute and she wrote one really moving chapter about her early relationship with her husband. I don't really recommend it though, you can get everything she has to say from her Instagram.

Fun to read as always, but not her best.

I found it useful to read through this book as opposed to taking an online test. I'm a 6.

Engaging and helpful for perusal if you want to have fun figuring out where you fall on the Enneagram.

So beautiful. I won't forget these characters.

Ugh. Shocking and depressing and upon consideration, not that shocking.

Great introduction to a new series! It's set in 1920s Bombay and the descriptions of Bombay cultures and the legal system are fascinating. Plus, lovable characters. It's a delight.

I love this book.

Hilariously offensive (sexist) but also a fun read.

These essays read like she really found it satisfying to write them.

When I see the other Goodreads reviews, I think I am in a minority that prefers the books set outside of Three Pines to the ones set within.

Not for me. I am interested in the Alaska frontier community but can't slog through 400 pages of domestic abuse. This is the second Hannah I've abandoned.

Very good book. I love this family so much! It's a must read.

Well this was fantastic. The best in the series so far.

Cute story, beautiful illustrations, but I like the Riverdale series universe better so probably won't go any further with this one.
