A great read, engaging and fascinating to learn the ugly details behind such a malignant company. It confirms what we already suspect about Facebook as a company but revels so much more malintent, if you use FB, you might want to read this book. Even if you already abandoned the place, you'll find it fascinating.
I actually put this book aside 2 years ago and ran out of books on hand so though I'd give it another try, I'm glad I did! The world takes a while to build up before the story truly unfolds. I nearly made it to the point where things really developed on the read but I was patient enough!
I really enjoyed how it played out in the end, recommended, just be patient!
Cozy Fantasy, I didn't know! This was thoroughly fun to read and honestly a breeze of fresh air for the genre. I've kinda tired of the usual broad sweeping, save the world sort of fantasy that I've read in the past. I've read a lot of fantasy over the years and I have to say that I really appreciate the smaller scope of this sub - genre!
Well written and easy to read, I'll be back for the prequel and future releases!
An examination of the covid years that existing in our memories as a blurred, distant thing despite having just been couple years ago! I appreciated how Kline cleverly takes you off the beaten path, only to deliver you back on parmth possessing a greater insight into an unexpected part of the whole.
Informational and provided helpful insight into AIs ability to negativity impact society.
That said the book is not aging well as things have changed greatly in the AI world in the past 2 years. Between the quickly shifting sands of both politics and technology, the solutions described in the book seem wonderful but quickly receding out of reach of US society.
