Historical fiction at its finest! I am writing this comment at almost 1AM on a Thursday because I stayed up to finish it!

I absolutely loved this book! What a mind bending experience. If you are a fan of The Twilight Zone or any similar type of story, you will devour this book!

Definitely a weird story written in an unusual format but overall it's pretty enjoyable!

Maybe I'm not edgy or cool enough but this book was impossible to read. It had moments of light where I “got it” but a majority of the book was me trying to figure out what the hell was going on.

if you like celebrity gossip this is gossip times 1000. I don't think anyone in Hollywood in the 90s came out unscathed.

It's voyeurism at its finest! Peeking into the windows of these rich socialites and watching all of their drama unfold.....get out the popcorn!

All build up, no payoff.

I fell completely in love with the main character Cara! I wish this book was longer.

The structure and pacing of the book is a hot mess. Overall not a terrible read.

While the book is supposed to be a dystopian look at an imagined future where Florida literally falls off the map, I couldn't help but feel this future is more realistic than we might realize. A great story of the effects of climate change without being too preachy.

A good page turner with tons of twists. Some of the dialogue is cheesy but overall a good thriller.

One of those books that will stick with you. Heartbreaking and magical at the same time. I couldn't put it down.

A few of the chapters are interesting but the rest are just a series of statistics that make for a boring read.

Part history, part mystery, and part true crime. Something for everyone!

This is a must-read for everyone! It combines history with great storytelling and shines a light on the little known parts of American life during the era of Jim Crow.

I laughed and I cried but mostly I cherished the message this book gave me.....to live in the moment without regrets. The perfect book to start off a new year!
