See allThis was a slow start. I was perplexed about where this book was going almost the entire time but I kept reading and I was enthralled. I hated that Harry died. I hated that Adiel died. I still don't understand exactly what this was or why I enjoyed it so much. It's very much a slice of life in many ways. But it was good.
I fucking loved this story, mostly because the sense of humor and the one liners were so incredibly spot on. The explicit stuff was just okay, but as a demisexual reader, I am mostly here for the actual dynamic anyway. The only real stumble was the massive cringe of hearing them say girlfriend and boyfriend during one of the final dirty deeds. It was just so weird and out of place, dog, but the rest of the book completely rules.
