Uunfortunately this book feels unfinished. I understand when I was published he wasnt caught but it really does feel like an assortment of notes rather than a linear investigation. I think the posthumous circumstances of the publishing lead it tk not quite be a finished product

A nice read if you dont think too hard about it.

Easy read! Pacing is a little inconsistent but it's overall it quickly creates an engaging world that you're curious about finding more about. Ending drags though.

The first third of the book is beautifully written. Hearing about the characters pain and finding quiet peace through fishing made me want to pick up a pole. As soon as we flashed back to the past I began to lose interest and the only point I liked after that was the end when all the leviathan nonsense was done.

A bummer but good

The post apocalyptic world this book is set in isn't anything new. The perspective of someone in a traveling symphony is different and refreshing.

I'm not sure this book adds much to the hunger games world. Many characters from the other books more put of fan service than anything

Tied for first for the best book in the series. Much less of the meat grinder than a lot of the others in the series which is great
