but if i have to read any form of the word “choke” one more time...

i'm completely and utterly heartbroken at that ending

first it took FOREVER to get the plot moving. was a lot of set up.

then the ENDING

i knew cardan (LOL NOT AUTOCORRECT SWITCHING IT TO CARDAMOM.) had something up his sleeve but EXILE?! after MARRYING JUDE?! i'm so sad.

this book got wicked weird during the last 100 pages and i don't know if it was good or bad

was a little overhyped for me. it's worth the read for the greek mythology; but that ending. oof. i was more sad by briseis' unnecessary death than patroclus and achilles'
