This is my first litRPG so it could just be that the genre isn't my thing. A large portion of the audio/text was the equivalent of playing a computer game and reading every tutorial box, item and spell description. "Carl got X spell which costs Y mana and lasts Z seconds with an area effect of W! Carl got achievement A, B and C!". There is a hint that the author could achieve a humorous narrative but the momentum was repeatedly killed. There also seems to be a huge potential for world building but if you've played a computer game or watched reality TV nothing is very novel or surprising.
