I really liked this book. It is different from other non fiction that I have read because of the correlation the writer makes. It gives us both an insight into het mind and shows us other ways to look at things that seem mundane or too large to handle. Here are a few of my favourite thing I took away from this book:
- fear and anxiety can seem like a blinding light, you can't look straight at it and it can feel overwhelming. But the moment you filter that light through a filter/prism the colorwaves split and become a rainbow which is much easier to decipher.
- you can look at proteins to see how being different can help you in groups and society as a whole. I really liked this take and now I know what kind of protein I am most like
When I tell you I am OBSESSED with this series. 5 stars in a row is unheard of, OMG. I am just obsessed.
The character growth is amazing and the relationships between the characters are so beautifully thought out.
And then the plot, how does miss Jennifer think of this. I am now too obsessed with the Fibonacci spiral.
I am going to binge the last book now
This is the kind of book you need to digest. You want to understand all three of the main characters in both their flaws and strong points. The premise of this books is as complicated as it sounds, but the way the author wrote about each individual experience is exquisite and the raw representation I would like to see more of.
I do agree with people that this book follows the same formula (ha science):
- He is soo BIGGGG and TALLL
- She is soooo smollll and tiny
- There will be betrayal
- and some smaller things
But even with all of that, it also means that if you like one book, you are likely to like the other.
So the story I liked, and the character aren't total copies of the love hypothesis. I know we were told why there was no communication (see earlier posts on this book) but still, use words. Overall, I liked the book and the history lessons about Marie Curie.
3.5 or a 4 star Im not sure yet.
