The only issue I had with this is that I had rated Book 1 a 5/5 star and this would be a 6/5. This book pulls you in immediately and I couldn't put it down. I had to give myself a few days to process it all before going into book 3.

WOW! This is the first book since trying to get back into reading that I could not stop thinking about and couldn't put down. Midway through it I bought Golden Son and will be jumping right into it.

Im trying to get back into reading and many recommended this and I will need a few days to digest it all. I can't wait to read more of Orwell's work.

This series has me in a chokehold. Morning Star has a little of everything, you can sense the maturity in Pierce's writing. It delivers, wrapping u loose ends in a super satisfying way without feeling predictable or forced.

I'm going to force myself time to process it all before jumping into Iron Gold.
