Not much happens in the overarching plot. We tie up the plot lines of some minor characters. Parenting finally takes place to a degree and our beloved MC finally gets grounded for one of his myriad battles. All in all a delightful read, little over 2 months till the next one drops. Can't wait.

I blew through this so fast, I'm starting to categorize them as light novels. And with the current wait times between books, very evil light novels.

Also has Eric taken up the Aleron Kong school of quest management? I thought for sure we'd get some things finished off... Should've known better, yet more quests. I hate you, now hurry up and release my pre-order early.

Some good world building

This isn't as strong as the first book, but we got some prep work and world building done for future novels. Of which, I look forward to.

Just a great gosh-darned series

Not gonna lie: Parts of this book really irked me. I really love the overpowered MC's, and when hardships creep up I get annoyed and I want to put down the book, but what's a story without adversity. And the MC always comes out on top in the end, and what an end this was. Looking forward to more from one of my favorite Russian LitRPG greats.

Good to see this in Book form

Found this early on after the author started posting chapters from the book on RoyalRoad. His cover image won me over, I think we all judge a book by its cover once in awhile and its such a good cover.

What drew me in though was one particular character. Old man Jack, 95 years young and a complete badass. I tend to abhor books with multiple narratives but this is my one exception, I may not like all the characters as much as Jack but it's an absolutely great read and you should definitely give it a shot.

Not the next book I was expecting from Dean...

To be honest when I got notified of a new book I was excited for the continuation of my favorite series. But nope... side project, and a cultivation one at that...yay.

And I almost put it down early on because the MC in the early story just rubbed me the wrong way. But because of my love of Dean's books I persevered and it actually got really good,and the MC less of an annoyance. This is like a LitRPG and Cultivation book had a really awesome baby. And I want more.

I both enjoyed and hated this one

The first half was excellent Boxxyness, the second half irritated the ** outta me. But the afterword put it all in perspective and I had to agree in the end that what happened needed to happen.

My.. What to write. I fear I am too annoyed at events in this book to write a wonderful review extolling its virtues.

Brilliant as usual

August? 8 months for the next one? And a cliffhanger of sorts... so so happy. Excellent book though, unedited but still entertaining. I doubt Montana will tide me over until the next book but we'll see.

I love this series, but the books are too short

I was just recommending this series to someone on /r/litrpg when I noticed I missed this book coming out.

As usual an excellent book with lots of empire building and a nice short battle to close off the book. Look forward to the next

Well that was good

I do love a good overpowered MC. The second Amazon suggested this book and I read the synopsis I knew it was right up my alley, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

That being said, if you don't like spelling mistakes then this book is not for you. There was at least 1 spelling mistake per page if not more. Great story though.

Brilliant!

Alot more spelling mistakes than I'm used to with Matt, but I was looking forward to this book. When my pre-order delivered I dropped the book I was in the middle of to read this, and plowed through it in one sitting. Not sure whether I want more of this or more dungeon robotics. Either way I look forward to either. Great job

So very short, but so very good

After 5 reviews do I need to further extoll the virtues of this series? No, you're here because you read the others. Should you read this one as well? Why yes, yes you should.

It's full of the same robotic dungeon core adventures, with a dash of necromantic battle and some divinity mixed in.. All hail the Machine Father!

Love me some OP MC

Not sure what interested me in the book, but I was not disapointed. It drew me in from the start and I blew through it in record time. Hopefully the sequel isn't far off.

Finally got around to reading this..

Was not disappointed. A couple randoms from /r/litrpg said this was a must read and I will agree. Now onto the next book!

Liked it for the most part

But I'm not going to lie: I skimmed through a lot of the middle of the book. I liked the beginning and the end but for whatever reason I couldn't stay engaged through the middle of the book. Might've just been my mood, still a good read and will probably read the next.

Another excellent DR book

The ending chapters threw me, but I guess we're gearing up for the final arc. Looking forward to the next.

Ugh... Cliffhangers

Good book otherwise. This is the second time reading this series. Didn't review it last time, and read it on KU which doesn't track which books you've read apparently. Second time around was just as good as the first. Looking forward to the next. (Bought the books this time... Just in case)

And while not as much happened as I was hoping it was still an excellent continuation of the story. Looking forward to more.

Love me some Russian LitRPG, wish this one had been just a bit longer. Blew through it in a couple hours. Loved the split personality MC, and interesting class choice. Hopefully it's not a long wait for the next

A new type of dungeon core, and bonus: No stupid fairy!

I really like the pseudo dungeon core in this book. It was such a breath of fresh air in the genre. I'm liking that were moving away from dungeon fairies as well.

Story wise: I thoroughly enjoyed it. Like I said above, it was truly something new in this genre and looks like there's already a sequel so I'm off to read that.

I really lucked out here

Didn't realize books 3 & 4 had been released so now I get to read lots of CivCEO goodness. Really loving the expansion, exploration and looking forward to some tradie beat down that's probably not too far on the horizon.

Excellent...

Excellent book. I've read other books by Mejia, and while they were ok. I can really see the growth he's made as an author with this book. I loved the premise, and while gnomes may rule I found myself rather annoyed with them in this book. Either way an excellent new playable race, that should be interesting for many books to come. I look forward to more.

I liked it.. Quite alot

I had just finished the latest Dungeon Robotics and my kindle suggested this as a next read. From the cover and synopsis I didn't even think it was LitRPG. But it sounded interesting and so I gave it a shot. So so so so so glad I did. It is LitRPG and Mr. Peed did a marvelous job creating this world, and its system. I look forward to many many more.

I've really stopped posting reviews because most LitRPG is so meh lately. THIS though was anything but. It was something new in this genre and I loved every minute of it. Everything from the concept to the story to the characters just checked every box for me and I await a (hopefully) book 2.
