That was excellent! I might need to read it again to pick up things I missed along the way, I read it so quickly.

Had a hard time with the first half, but I think I wasn't on the right frame of mind for it. Once I approached it at not another scifi pulp, it started to click a bit more and I appreciated it for the view of humanity or was meant to be.

Excellent! I love her writing, and while I may not have the same tastes, I love the philosophy that you should unabashedly love whatever brings you joy. There is no good media, or bad media, ultimately we're all decaying flesh prisons, and however we choose to silence the existential wailing into the void is fine.

Excellent horror story. It was creepy, it was uncomfortable to get into the mind of various characters as they found themselves in these unthinkable situations. I really enjoyed it, looking forward to The Deep next!

Pretty good, I think it might require another read to pick out all of the details. I really like the flowery language that describes everything. I feel like it requires several readings to really pick out the details, whereas the first read is just a struggle to really nail down what the hell is actually happening.

Not bad! More of the same from the first book.

Good read. Has just enough lore to explain what's going on without getting bogged down in it.

Great retelling of ancient Greek mythos. Fry's voice comes through perfectly, which is adds a unique humor to these familiar tales.

I'm not really sure what I was expecting. I heard that the game control was inspired by this series, and so I was expecting a shadowy government agency and some paranormal goings on. I got that, but it was pretty dry. Not super satisfying, and the creepiness is rather overwhelmed by the boring main character.

Not really for me. I just couldn't get into it.

Didn't really do anything for me. Wasn't in the mood for this kinda reading.

Great book, probably one of my favorite Stephen King.

Great series. Pretty long winded in the descriptions, but enjoyable.

Not bad. Definitely didn't see it coming.

Very good! It's weird, it doesn't explain anything, but leaves you to work out what this vast universe is, and really makes you feel the characters.

I didn't really read the whole thing. Just wanted to read Metamorphosis, but I really enjoyed it!

Didn't really care for it. I kept waiting for it to get good, but I think it may have just not been my style.

It wasn't bad. Cline is really heavy handed with the references, so it feels almost like a commercial sometimes, and the story wasn't anything groundbreaking, but you know what you're getting when you go for a book from Cline. It's masturbatory nostalgia, which by it's nature is fun. You don't always need to sniff your own farts to show how superior you are. Sometimes you just want some jack in the box.

Really fun, creepy book. King does a great job of putting you in the shoes of the family and making you feel their joys and grief.

Great book! I finally see what the big deal is with Discworld.

it wasn't bad. I'm sure I missed some symbolism for something, but it was just... kinda weird.

Great book! Way more real than I was expecting from a comedian's autobiography, but then again, a child raised during apartheid in S Africa. What else would you expect?

It wasn't bad. I'm not sure if I was really in the right frame of mind or if I just had the wrong expectations of it.

Fantastic book. Really fun voice, definitely will have to read more by him.

Phenomenal. Gaiman really does world building right.
