This book was a real page-turner. I'm a sucker for the progression fantasy genre, and Unsouled lays out how far there is to go and the path our protagonist is going to be taking in an exciting way. The chapters feel compelling, often ending on cliffhangers, and I can't wait to see what happens over the course of the series.

Really just not a great ending to the series, unfortunately. There's some exciting stuff here, but the resolution relies on characters we've just met rather than been with the whole time.

On this read, I found myself enjoying Wolves at least as much as Wizard and Glass. It's a well-told western in the vein of Seven Samurai

A short little afternoon read, chocked full of useful information for firsts and seconds (lead players). There's focus on form, function, and strategy as it relates to these vital curling team positions.

Lots of good information for me as a newer curler, especially in the New Curlers and Arena Ice sections. It's given me a lot to think about while I skip a team and participate in strategy discussions on another as vice-skip.
