This book screams AI writing. Herky-jerky, disjointed plotting, formulaic repetitive language, and incoherent characters. It's too bad, because the premise is really fun.

This is very obviously heavily AI-assisted. Well outlined by the creator, so the plot is coherent and it doesn't have the ‘dream-logic' jumps that show up in AI works that aren't well-curated, but the writing tonally flat, and much of it feels like you're reading a summary of events, rather than watching the story unfold. I couldn't do it.
