Good good good!

Apparently it is possible to ruin the whole book in the last 2 chapters. The plot twist doesn't fit the FMC internal dialogue at all for the rest of the book. This twist ruined the book for me.

The best part of this book was Ilya. This couple wasn't for me, story was quite boring.

Oh, Bartholomew.

Writing is good and story is interesting, but it is too detailed. I am happy the character knows stuff - I don't have to know everything they do. Also I feel like there is a lot of filler text that doesn't serve to the story or characters.

It is also very slow paced, the story picked up only in the final chapters.

Hate Charlie, hate her moping, dont like writing style. Almost DNF, will not read the second book.

Nothing really happens except the last 10% of the book. A lot of plotholes and the characters aren't my cup of tea.

Yet I couldn't stop listening, and wanted to know how it ends. The narrator was extremily good!
