See allIn my strictly personal experience, I feel like it's rare when a piece of media presents you with a fully-built world and invites you to step into it, rather than do all the legwork once you're there. Becky Chambers absolutely does the former, with heaps of logical creativity and poetic word choices primed for aesthetic quote posts. She deftly skips from scene to scene, excising anything that's not necessary and creating a tight reading experience. that's thrilling in a very character-interaction-based way. I'm out of clever things to say. Go read these books.
