I found myself a little bored by the first 50 or so pages. I'm not sure if it was just me or too much scene setting, but it took me a bit to engage with the book.
Once I was past that, I was completely in though!
I found the book to be an interesting look at female rage and how it intersects with age and other factors. Felt like I gained some new perspectives while also learning about the perils of forever suppressing rage.
Overall, a great book once you get past the slow intro.
