This book is a very good collection of articles. But unfortunately it fails to perform when put put under the category of a book. There are multiple errors and spelling mistakes. Many sentences are repetitive which furthers makes us question the authencity of the book. A Book that has so much details on Tamil language ought have good language in it don't you think?
As always I don't want to bore you with the summary of the story which is already given by the author above. Let's dig into the review right away.
Review: This is a story that wraps Love, Lust, Fame, Kindness and Madness in a tangly plot which surprisingly is easier to read. The story begins with suspense and then all the characters and their substories are revealed as the plot progresses forward. There are too many emotions in it and most of them are valid if not some.
The characterization of each of the characters in the story is good. But there are some issues like the past of Isha. I had no clue as to why she behaves the way she does here, maybe that is a continuation of the author's previous books? I am not sure. But her background could have been portrayed a bit better. Without those explanations it seems like the author wants us to hate Isha which he achieves successfully, but then I couldn't empathize with her as much as Sameer did at the end.
Though the portrayal of KD is good, with many films in the same niche it seemed a bit cliche. This book says so much about practical abuse that is common in many relationships and it's time that we give some attention to this overshadowed issue. I feel KD's friend/manager is underrated, his character was the most practical of all and I personally like him the most.
What I found weird is the in between wisdom quotes from the author himself. The writing style the author has chosen is quite familiar with the Indian readers, but the sudden sprinkle of life quotes here and there were quite disturbing. Not only did it rupture the good flow of the plot, it also made each chapter appear as a moral story with a moral at the end. I am sure that was not the intention of the author, so such quotation could have been incorporated along with the thoughts of protagonists or the storyteller. Then again I think that would not suit the third-person/author-friend writing style.
This book has many strong moral opinions in them, which I appreciate. I would encourage you to explore all those opinions in Unbooked and Unhooked
Verdict/Rating: Overall this is a good book, an honest attempt/experimentation(at least it looked like it to me). The author has come up with a good tale, very good characterization and has experimented with his writing style too. The set and pace of the plot is also good. I would give this book a 3.5-⅘ stars for all his efforts.
Recommendation: I would recommend this book to any beginners(readers) as the language is pretty simple and the plot is easy to understand. I finished the book in a couple of hours with ease.

Summary of this story is presented well by the author himself as the book's description. So, let's move on to the review part without wasting our words.
Review: The author: @adityanighhot has made a brave attempt (and a very good one in that,) in the Crime thriller/Short story Genre. The story is onto the point with no roundabout way of indulging the audience. The author has chosen a simplistic approach when coming to language, which gives the story ‘APPROACHABLE' status - meaning anyone can read this regardless of being a reader or not. The final moment that every reader anticipates is ‘the final reveal' and is unexpected in a good way. Building a character within very few words is very difficult, the author has handled this very well in the case of ACP. Portraying the soft and humane side of Police officers is something rare these days and I like it.
The same strong points of this book, unfortunately, have a grey side to them also. It lacks the cloud and depth of mystery which is common for a short thriller. The dialogues between the characters in spite of carrying some subtle variations (Like the authoritative tone of the ACP and obedient replies from his subordinates), could have been more characterized. The reason for crimes, though peculiar, feels a bit shallow. Some concentration could have been done towards the characterization of the guilty (like explaining their mental state a bit more).
On the whole this was a good snack for someone like me who reads a lot. The author has done pretty well, considering that this is his debut short story.
Rating: I would like to give 3.5/5 stars.
Recommendation: This is a quick, no BS thriller read, with easy language. So I'd recommend anyone and everyone to read Catch Me If You Can.

The book is about a tragic story of a mother and two children that happens in old Kerala.
Review:
The way the book is written is bind boggling. 🤯There are only very few books that ignites the creative spark inside it's reader. This is one such book.
Though some may find it to be a drag to read everything with the eyes of an child who forgot to grow in one way or the other, it's refreshing to go back to that ever growing self portrayal of the world around that we all would have done once. 🤩
The tragedies are very well depicted and the effect that it has on young minds, shattering all their hope, joy, humour, imagination and most importantly to tear out their human part itself. 👹
The way in which the chapters and the individual thoughts were juggled between the present and the past has given the book a poetic shade to it .✍
Personally for a person who have never been to Kerala this revealed so much of it's past. 🌴
Touching the untouchable is absolutely reaching. But then the way it was again used for the next generation (which is totally different) under the umbrella of crossing the limit of whom to love and how to love is a bit disturbing. 🤨
I can accept and understand the chaotic calmness that the children carried among all of the madness that were surrounding them. Even the madness they carry as adults but never the justification or the comparison for their final act. 😕
On the whole this was a very unique read for me.

I am giving a 4.5/5 for this book. Minus .5 for the reason above. Which I hope you'll understand once you finish reading it.
Recommendation:
I would recommend every adult to read this book atleast once in their lifetime. In this fast moving uncertainty of a world. This will surely introduce to a form of disturbing serenity that is much needed at least according to me. 🤓

We come across so many events daily in our life. So we experience and some we hear as news. For how many have we stopped to analyse it? For how many we bother to ask questions? The author has exactly done that in his short stories.
The author has questioned many trivial things that he has been pondering all his life. While reading those you yourself will be remembering that somewhere around you too would have pondered on some of those. The stories are so realistic and relatable that they might happen in our life too.
I love the simplistic approach the author has handled throughout his debut book. I think the way he has handled some questions could have been with a more positive tone in it.
Verdict: I am giving this a 4/5 Stars.
Recommendation: I recommend this to all tamil readers and short story lovers.

Summary: Being the second in the Hunger Games Trilogy this book doesn't need much introduction. In this second book Katniss is haunted by the ghosts of the last Hunger Games while she finds out she is not alone in it. The Capitol(President Snow) views her last act of Saving Peeta as an act of defiance and rebellion and announces that the next Hunger Games, the 75th also known as the 3rd Quarter Quell, will be held among the previous victors. This shocks everyone but little did they know that there are rebellions all over districts with Katniss as its face. What happens in the Quarter Quell? Will the rebellion make the game master more wicked? Will Katniss and Peeta survive this ? What happens in the end? Catching Fire answers all these questions in a very emotional and twisting plot.
Review: Considering the plot and the end no wonder it made the perfect adaptation in movies as well. Yet again the author has proven herself but touching our souls by designing and maintaining a very common girl character as the lead protagonist.
Verdict: 4.5-5/5 stars
Recommendation: I recommend this to anyone who loves Dystopian/Ya novels. You would have to read the prequel first to get the full concept, though.

Review:
I really have no idea why I did not read this series till now. (I haven't seen the films either. I know right!) I finished the book in a single night. I have read only some dystopian novels till now, this one hit me on a different level. Of course this book has everything a fiction book should have. The love triangle is relatable and the character of Katniss is very well scripted.
Apart from all these, I always look for some nuggets to take away from any book I read and this one had very simple but important messages in them. The stroll that any dystopian society (or to be dystopian society) has on children is very well portrayed and it made me think about how ready we are in real life.
What will we really do if such a dystopia occurs? Are we not experiencing some form of it now itself through this pandemic? I really think this society is built for adults only. We are making children a part of our world, oru society. When will they have their own? These are some questions that really hit me hard.
Verdict: 4.4-5/5 Stars
Recommendation: This is a very good and enjoyable read for young adults and a very good eye opener for adults(at least for some).

Review: This is the 3rd book in the Will Robie series and my second David Baldacci Book. After reading his first book I fell on heels for his writing style. This book did not disappoint me. Although, I thought it would have been more fulfilling if I'd have finished the first 2 books before reading the 3rd.
As usual David has a very engaging way of storytelling that captivates the reader. Otherwise, it is very difficult to keep the audience on edge for 500+ pages. The action sequences are very surreal and they portray a very good picture in your mind eye.
Verdict: I give 5 stars for this book as I was not able to let the book down.
Recommendation: David's books are very beginner friendly. Don't get scared by the size of the book you'll finish it before you know. I recommend this to everyone who love action-suspense-spy-thriller

How are they going to solve these mysterious deaths? Are they related? What happened to Kat on that fateful night? What happened to Adam's friend? What secret is the Investment firm hiding behind its doors?
This is what Death Count is all about.
Review:
At first it was pretty tough to follow up the story as the chapters ended abruptly and a new one with a completely unconnected event started. Then I got the gist of what the author is trying to do and followed her unquestioningly.
The emotional turmoil that Kat experiences is well captured. As an accident victim myself I was able to live through her trauma while reading. I felt that the romantic parts could have been more descriptive, yet I liked it anyway.
The continuous revelations throughout the book and the twists at the end made me finish the entire book in Three days. The book ends with a cliffhanger and I would love to read the next book in the Kat-Munro series.
Verdict: I am giving 4.5/5 stars. The 0.5 is for the financial terms that were alien to me.
Recommendation: This book is a quick and good read. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a page-turning, what happens next, quick read with good twists.

Review: I haven't read the whole series yet, but that was not inhibiting my involvement or understanding of this book. The author has planned very well so any reader could catch up with the history of Jessie Hunt when reading this book. More importantly the character development and the history the author spins, really nudges the reader to read more of his previous works to find out what really happened. This book is a very interesting read for me and I was not bored anywhere(Trust me I get bored very easily). Among all these, what I found very attractive is the vocabulary the author has chosen, there were unique words sprinkled everywhere like stars in the night sky which feels as beautiful as them too. I would readily read Blake Pierce's work anywhere anytime.
I thought that Jessie Hunt's history could not have been repeated so many times. This book cannot be a standalone, as there are many subplots which are a bit distracting.
Verdict: ⅘ stars
Recommendation: This book is a treat for any book fanatic. Mystery seekers can devour this and I have heard that all of Blake Pierce's works are the same. With no complicated plot and very well set characters, I recommend this to beginners as well.

Review: Is it possible to write three different books and make it a trilogy and still make it related? Stephen king sure has done it with this trilogy. I had a somewhat mediocre feeling about the first one and a typical Stephen king's feast in the second one and a total deal breaker in this third one. I mean how this guy does it? This may not be the best thriller book that I have read recently but one of the most creative one for sure. The whole concept is freshly brewed unlike the first two books which I felt were refurbished Stephen king's narratives. On the whole this is a good book with a good ending.
Verdict: I give 3.5-4/5 starts
Recommendation: People with a mixed pellet for books can go with this book. Stephen Kings Fans must read this book.

Review: This is the second book in the #BillHoges Triology (which I have reviewed previous to this). I have to say I am happy with this book. Stephen King is back with his style in this book. Although the predecessor was not upto his penmanship this one sure has all his awesome creepiness, deranged villain, classic yet fulfilling climax. I am coming to like Holly. I love his portrayal of the protagonist - ‘ex-detective Bill Hoges' is a pretty normal guy.

Review:
The first book from Stephen King that I read was “The Shining”. I loved his unusual style and his eye to details. Mr.Mercedes sure has them both but a bit more excessive than necessary. Author has concentrated so much on describing the protagonists while the plot is sitting out there, waiting to be made more concrete. So this is not my favourite!
Verdict: 2.6-3 / 5 stars - definitely not his best
Recommendation: The book can be tolerated by Stephen King fanatics like myself

The historical fiction which happens in the World War II era is a combination of Jewish mysticism and actual history tied in a beautiful knot that never lets our attention down. The author's writing style is simple and elegant. Unfortunately I have mixed feelings for this book. Though it is considered common knowledge that Jewish tales are somewhat known, I had absolutely no idea whatsoever about them. So this book was more of a revealer. It was quite distracting switching modes between serious business happening in the real world and the lightness of fantasy world.
I would have really loved with all the beautiful emotions of terror, love, humanity, anger etc., only if it had less detailed mysticism. Either way, as an avid reader I enjoyed reading it.

Review:
The book is very fast moving. So much so that I felt that character building could've been better. For example Alex's sudden change of heart is somewhat expected but never justified clearly. Oddly at the beginning though the story's pace was good It made me feel somewhat stagnated.
It has some very good twists, but they suffer to bring about any significant change of plot. Unlike other sci-fi novels, I liked the way the factions were depicted as it is more relatable rather than all good and co-operating strangers suddenly banding together.
Overall I enjoyed the unique plot and twists introduced by the author.
Verdict: 3.5/5
Recommendation: Beginners interested in Sci-Fi and Dystopian genre can pick up the book.

Review:
It is a very captivating Sci-Fi short story with a great twist in the end. It is supposed to be one among the author's fav's. I was dumbfounded at the end thinking - ‘How can a person relay so much creativity and make your mind explode in a 19 pages short story?' I guess he is a legend for a reason.
Verdict : 5/5 stars
Recommendation: It is one among my most favourite short stories, so obviously I'd recommend you to have read it! But full disclosure you would have to know some scientific terms if you are new to the sci-fi genre(this is a must for all Isaac Asimov's work).

We all would have fantasized many stories in our lives, be it in our dreams, or while we daydream or the things that we wish that we/society had. Vandahavi Ponavai is one such collection of authors' thoughts and fantasies that carries the reader to different times and universes in each of its stories.
Being a debut author, Kaattaan has made us enjoy his writings so much that I was not able to keep the book down without finishing a story. Additionally each story provokes something within us that we ourselves might have thought before. The book is simply beautiful with all its simplistic glory.
What I liked the most: Author's style of switching between multiple timelines and parallel stories are fantastic and relatable.
Verdict: I am giving this a 4.5/5 Stars.
Recommendation: I recommend this to all tamil readers and short story lovers.

Review: Did you ever happen to be in a conundrum where you become physically unable to keep a book down, still you gotta do it in order to have your sleep(which is already dwindling day by day) and the first thing you search in the morning as soon as you wake up is not your phone(I know right?), but that book which lay by your side and gave you disturbing(in a good way) bittersweet dreams that you cannot continue with your day without finishing it?
Yeah, this was one such book for me.
Good novels usually have very good descriptions about the surrounding, good character building, some even convey the tension of a supposed situation in the way that the author had intended it to.
But very few express, kindle and soothe out the emotions that you yourself may have forgotten that they still exist. For me the classics always had been those soothers (mostly).
To the author's credit she has handled that job incredibly well, by handling all the delicate emotions very well throughout her book.
With an apt pace, she has made a wonderful recipe that makes her audience hunger more of her delicacies.
I enjoyed the suspense part which for the record, has been very subtle(which I liked) and well used.
With love, hate and anger portrayed as the white and black part of relationships in romantic novels, this book portrays the grey side that society never speaks out about or about.
I feel like rereading the book and trust me I am not a re-reader. All things spoken I still have so many questions about the main character and I wasn't able to keep her under any one spectrum. But hey, after all aren't we all a bit of everything!
Verdict: Over all this is a very good and interesting read. I am giving 4.5/ 5 for this.
Recommendations: I encourage all young minds to give this book a go. I can assure you that you will not regret it.

Review: This is a very light and enjoyable read. The book might have used some string script. But this is expected as this is a Wattpad story developed as a book.
Verdict: I would give this book 3.5-3.8 stars
Recommendations: I would recommend this book to anyone who wishes to pick up a short and easy read.

The books is full of twists and mysteries and keeps us on the edge of our seat. I could not keep this book down that I finished the entire 432 💪🏿pages jumbo read in two days. The best mystery thriller I could get my hands on this year!
Verdict: I would give this 4.5-4.8❤️ stars for all the details and intriacte simplicities this book has.
Recommendation: Everyone 🤓can read this book. A must read for thriller and mystery junkies like me😁

The author has made it her mission to carry the plot in as much suspense as possible. The first half of the book is really interesting but I felt that the second half of the book could have had some twists and suspense that the first half had.
Verdict:
I would give a 3.6 for all the excitement it created in the first half.
Recommendation:
I would recommend this book to avid readers and people who like quick reads.

Simply nudging the reader's curiosity this books happens to open up many questions than it answers. This is not a written work but a very well edited record of lectures by Stephen Hawking himself.
I would give this book a whooping 5 stars for contending with my curiosity.
This little book is like a gateway drug for entering utopia of Universe.
