I was asked to review this book in exchange for a free copy.

To be honest, this wasn't my cup of tea. Maybe it was Jesse's style of writing or the characters itself.
I just didn't find the story compelling enough that it took me two months to finish. The last couple of chapters are where it really picked up for me and you actually wanted to get to the end to see how it finished.

My advice would be to read the first few chapters first and decide if you like it.

I loved the Riyria Chronicles so wondered if Michael would have been able to captivate my attention with this new series.

He didn't disappoint, loved this book from start to finish and couldn't put it down.

Highly recommended if you like the Riyria Chronicles.
