This went by quickly - then I had to return the book and wait for it again at my library. I found that this author was interviewed by How to be awesome at your job - so if you want a short version of it I would highly rec. listening to that interview.

Good book and it is my first book on a negotiating topic but I feel it has some good merit with public workers especially!
This book is closer to a 3.5.

It's not a full 5stars (4 for sure) BUT I think about it all the time. This was my first Shirley Jackson read and she's queen of the unreliable narrator and I still shiver at the hand holding portion of the book. If I ever read a campfire story that portion would “Shirley” be it!

I'm not a fan of green lantern stories in DC and i'm also not a fan or noir mystery type novels, so when someone rec. this to me I was dragging my feet to start. When I did start reading this story I DID NOT put it down! I was compelled by the world building and thought the panel layout was excellent in telling this story as well. I was pleasantly surprised! Excellent book!

A mentally disabled man never stops searching for knowledge and an experiment may just be his answer. This book is very emotional. The text in this book is thoughtfully crafted and really pulls you into the character and his progress through his quest for intelligence.

Not exactly what I had in mind, I just finished "The Harmonious Home" who's idea was that a home was a landscape and tied that into nature and those elements. I was looking for additional interior design books with this in mind and this stuck out. Not a bad read, but I just wanted more from it. If you liked this book or felt similar to me, try out that "The Harmonious Home" book.
