I think the main problem is that there are now so many other books and shows with similar themes and aspects that is hard to appreciate Rama to the fullest extent. Still a very good read.

It starts interesting but unfortunately never goes anywhere.

This felt like a letdown compared to the previous volumes. The ending just came too abrupt and was unearned. It wasn't really resolved, more like the hand of God just waved the the problem away.

I enjoyed that very much.

It really feels like a (short) season of Buffy. Thankfully, without Joss Whedon‘s involvement.
