this book instantly had me hooked. if you know me, you know im a slow reader but i devoured this book in 3 sittings. i've never fallen more in love with a fantasy world like i did with the world of fourth wing. the romance was also so so good. the only predictable thing was the last 2 chapters, i instantly guessed where it was going and what the ending would reveal, but maybe thats just me. and the smut????? CHEFS KISS. i will be crying screaming throwing up and rereading until the next book comes out in november. this book absolutely deserves all the hype it got and continues to get ALSO THE DRAGONS????? IM IN LOVE

the cliffhanger at the end wasn't giving what everyone said it would give. the romance is weird as fuck, i love a good dark romance but this one was meh. the start is so goddamn boring like i wanted to dnf this at least 10 times. it wasn't for me and i will not be reading the sequel. 2 stars for good writing tho

i love this series sm and even tho i sometimes had my doubts during this book (like the juliette-anderson attraction.. wth) i'm still giving it 5 stars!! these characters mean so much to me and i'm so sad that this is the last novel. now onto believe me :') i'd recommend this series to anyone and i will defend it with my life
