First book in the “Knight & Daywalker” series, this book was narrated by Greg Tremblay.

Following the story of a 30 something year old child of a vampire, we are brought into the world sunny California. A place of intrigue, murders and mystery.

The story is a bit of a murder mystery, a bit of a slow burn romance for some characters, and a bit of fantasy. Fun listen overall (audiobook).

Excellently written journey through the capture of Adolf Eichmann. The paperback copy has many images of the materials issued, art created, and reminders of our shared history.

The book also maintains the sense of urgency surrounding the capture of Eichmann. While the book doesn’t lose pace, we do also get the sense of frustration when all leads dry up.

Great read.

Such an incredible read.

I watched a video recently that ranked this as the most important comic of its year, so I had to check it out for myself. I am glad that I did. This story is from the perspective of a girl turned elderly woman over the course of one journey with Kara. While not an origin story, we do receive also another telling of the fate of krypton. It provides us some insight into how the heroine thinks and the grief she carries into daily experience.

Also, it’s just fun to think of a super hero taking off for the day to get drunk on a world without powers.

Really just a first hand account of the 107 days from Biden dropping out to Election Day 2024. She does a good job of giving us the sense of urgency around that time. It is nice to hear the names of the people involved, although they certainly blend together. It feels like a peek behind the curtain of the Democratic Party as well.

I listened to this as an audiobook!

This one was a cute read for the “fated/soul mates” crowd.

The book follows 2 teens that can’t help but faint when they’re around each other. Each fainting spell transports us to a dream in some point in history featuring the pair as lovers. Unfortunately, each ends in some sort of disaster!

This book was a fun break from the more serious books I’ve been listening to this summer. The narrators providing great voice work and clear character differentiation.

Would recommend for a fun romance!

I enjoyed this one as an audiobook!
