This was such a comfort read! I love the characters and the setting. If you are looking for a short and sweet fantasy novel, this is something worth picking up, especially during winter/fall when the weather lends itself to reading (and drinking) something warm and cozy!

Good characters and an engaging plot. While I wasn't reaching to read this book, I found that I wanted to see where the story would go. Overall an average book.

Finished this a while back during my vacation–loved it! Love the art and the characters. Full of drama and interesting politics.

This is the kind of book I love. It's a story filled with layers, with charming and relatable characters, with the fantastical and the ordinary...I highly recommend this one!

At first, i was a bit disappointed with the book. It started off slow and read like a soap opera. However, tge story really began to blossom once Circe is sent to live on the island of Aiaia. This is where she learns who she is and what she is capable of.

This story follows Auri around the Underthing as she prepares for Kvothe's visit. Very little actually happens, but it was still a delightful read nonetheless. Short, strange, and sweet–much like Auri herself.

A fast and fun read. Recommended for those looking for a good summer book. I loved the characters. I loved reading about their experiences and seeing the growth of each character. I like the different point of views and i thought he did a wonderful job with spotlighting each of the main characters.

Definitely looking forward to the movie!

Cute book! Love the illustrations! It's okay to be different!

“In the end, people are unable to discard things either because they are attached to the past or afraid of the future.”

I am tackling my clothes today. Time to transform my loving space.

Brightly woven.

Great read! I can't wait to watch the television series.

This book is very hard to describe as far as plot goes, but it provides the reader with an interesting experience. It is about about self discovery, sexuality, enslavement, and much more... I would like to give this a 5 star rating, but I can't quite say that I fully enjoyed this read. All in all a solid book that makes you think and can definitely be re-read.

I really enjoyed this book. Guy Gavriel Kay does a wonderful job telling this story and introducing you to this entirely new world. It took me a while to get into it–names were a bit confusing and just figuring out what the heck was happening was a bit of a challenge, which is why I knocked it down one star. However, once the story starts going, it just takes you away. The characters are very interesting and I cannot wait to pick up the second book!

Loved it! Great characters, great story– just an overall fun and exciting read!

Read this while on vacation. Perfect light read while traveling. The stakes are definitely getting higher for cinder and her gang. And we are getting close to the final show down with queen levana. So far, my favorite in the series was scarlet (book 2), but i can't wait to start winter when i get back home–this lunar princess seems like a very interesting character...

Such a good read! I love these characters! My only complaint is the writing for the fight scenes is a bit repetitive. This was definitely a great sequel! Picking up the third book right now!!

Love the concept of this book! Cyborg cinderella?!? Hella yeah! I'm definitely interested enough to want to read the rest of the series. My only complaint is that the plot was a bit predictable...still a nice light read though. I plan to start the next in the series soon!

I can't say that I loved this book as much as Serafina, but I definitely enjoyed it. I think I was expecting much more growth in Serafina's character and I just didn't get that in this sequel. At times, she felt very dense. I don't know...maybe I expected more action and agency on her part. Still was an interesting read! Definitely recommended for all the dragon lovers out there!

What the heck did I just read?!? Idk what to say about this one other than I'm picking up the next in the series!

only made it half way. not my cup of tea...

Such a good read! Private investigators (called paparazzi) and secret identities set in a post Cloud burst world. Interesting world, fun characters, a must read for comic fans out there. The art is striking and fits this world perfectly =)

I'm currently reading the most recent issues. Definitely check this out if you have time. Here is the link: http://panelsyndicate.com/ (it's only available in digital form). Pay what you can–all the money goes towards the author and artist.

5 out of 5 stars.

I actually really enjoyed this read and plan to read the next in the series.

I don't know exactly how I feel about this book, so I gave it an average rating because of my conflicting feelings. On the one hand, it was a very engaging read–especially with all the hilarious illustrations, and Allie Brosh's voice is witty and funny and casual, and honest. I just had a hard time relating to some of the stories. I am not sure if it was how she was writing it, or if it was the situation itself, but I was definitely forcing myself to just get through with some of the chapters. I don't know how to explain it, but I guess the tone was just off for me.

3 out of 5 stars

This was a very charming short story that was located at the end of the ebook version of [b:Seraphina 19549841 Seraphina (Seraphina, #1) Rachel Hartman https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1387577872s/19549841.jpg 17375239]. I loved it! Not only do you get to see how Seraphina landed her job as the assistant music coordinator, but you also get to see these characters in another light. Definitely a must read if you are like me and are anxiously waiting for the next installment of this series =)
