Enjoyed the second book of the series, looking forward to part three.

Took a while to get into. But a great story in the end.

Loved it, looking forward to the next book.

Took a while to get used to the style. But in the end, it's a great tale of friendship.

The book continues on with Edwin and his family adventures.

Edwin was sentenced to seven years in Van Diemens land (Modern day Tasmania) in the first book. This book documents his voyage there. It discusses the condition that convicts must have encountered at this time.

He was lucky as his family were also traveling to Australia in another boat, so Edwin got a chance to see his wife and children a couple of times throughout the journey.

Obviously a lot of research went into this novel, who know that is where the POSH name comes from?

It wasn't a hard read and very enjoyable, hopefully we hear more about this family Christine.

Great book, I will be looking at getting the next.

As someone that does their family tree, this was very familar and enjoyed the way he worked out the problem.

thanks

Another cracking book in the series.

Took me a while to get into this to be honest. Lots of characters to keep track of.  But in the end,a pretty good read.

Not sure if this is my type of book. Probably wasn't really invested in any of the characters.

But if you like murder mystery, then this may work for you.

Great story and a great way to learn some history.

Great short story from the master

It took awhile to get used to this style of writing, but in the end I enjoyed this book. It gave me some insights to that time in Belfast. Worth reading.

Good introduction to the series and characters

Great book. Learnt lots of history as well. Hopefully Ned makes an appearance in future books
