Some pretty funny parts, and a few insights that were interesting. Overall it was info I'd heard elsewhere, but in Aziz's voice. If you like Aziz, it's worth reading.

More “science/fiction” than “science fiction”. Loved every page, and highly recommend for anyone who solves problems. Looking forward to the movie.

Loved it - essential history of computing from Ada Lovelace to Google.

Must read if you want to understand the real-world risks of digital security

Smarter and more horrifying than I expected.

The guy seems insufferable. Maybe that was the point? In any case, I didn't finish it despite its short length.

Loved the style. McCarthy's writing works well for what is essentially an old western novel set in 1940s Mexico.

Great stuff on food and exercise. The rest is sort of interesting but out of place. If you like Tim Ferriss you'll like the book, if not then you won't.

The comparisons to Gone Girl are accurate, although this is a lot darker.

Not well-written and full of cliches, but there are enough interesting points to make it worth reading if the subject matter looks compelling.

Very good history of a small part of US-Native American policy at the turn of the 20th Century. I would have preferred a little more meat about football strategy, but it's worth reading if you're at all interested in football/US history.

Interesting throughout; would have been better with more discussion of hallucinations throughout history.

Definitely scratches the Serial itch between seasons, but it's probably about twice as long as it needs to be.

Occasionally dry and/or racist, but overall very well done. Does a good job placing the 15 battles in context with each other and with European history. I wish I had read it when I was younger.

No review written.

Only gets the second star because I felt compelled to finish it, but this book is very not good.

Great use of the unseen/unspoken to scare the reader. Thematically and stylistically reminded me of Lovely Molly, one of the scariest horror films I've seen in the last few years.

Excellent picture of a topic that I already loved. I would have enjoyed it even without the compelling storyline, but it has that too.

Loved this one - Bokononism is definitely my favorite fictional religion.

Definitely has a decent point to make, but it will beat you over the head with it for 500 pages.

Excellent annotations in this version, and finally reading this helped dispel my assumption that we didn't invent complexly layered literature until later in history.

The middle two quarters were too dense for me, but the beginning and end were interesting.

Great hard sci-fi that explores what it means to be human and whether it matters.

Shorter and more clever than the movie.
