Cascade Failure

Wrote a review for

Four Doors

  • Story - 5 of 5 - Interesting story that moves along nicely, no going off on tangents or coming to a stand-still.
  • Character - 5 of 5 - Interesting, detailed, unique characters that one can root for or jeer.
  • Setting - 3 of 5 - Just enough detail for the characters to move around in without tangenting or slowing the story and momentum down. Giving a 3 because worldbuilding is not the emphasis of this book. There is just the right amount to support the story and characters.
  • Language - 4 of 5 - alot of description, no stuffy language usage, no language intended to incite strong negative emotions or give wrong impressions. I give it a 4 because there are some authors that have a knack for choosing words that bring out the colors and textures of the scene like a soft mist or warm fuzzy blanket. Again, not the door being emphasized in this book but still does a great job.
