Not really a review but a question/speculation:
Does the ending mean that next book will bring closure to Gus with Rory and Lane helping him get the real killer from book 3?

That was an average book, predictable at times but the ending was surprising and satisfying.

I liked the book but there's a plot hole/forgotten subplot that really annoyed me.

3 and half stars.
Of all Donlea's books, I found this one the least inventive. I've read this story before. Of course, the writing is exhilarating as always, but I figured the secrets and the plot twists easily.

It's not quite 4 stars but not far from it.

I found it better than some reviews led me to believe. I also found Orla stupid. I wanted to shake her hard.

The audiobook made the experience, especially the second to last chapter, a very interesting experience.

Tem uns problemas de revisão mas nada que tire o brilho desse thriller nacional.

There were times that I wanted to punch some characters, others I got really worried and anxious.
In the end, I really enjoyed this book.

I really REALLY didn't like this book.

I fell in love with this book. It's quite a fairy tale but it's a fairy tale for people like me featuring people like me and it made me smile and gush and awww and I really needed that.

This was probably my favorite Liane Moriarty book to date. It was less about a mystery (in this case, the ten years Alice forgot) and more about people, how we relate and interact, how we misunderstand and misunderstand each other and sometimes miss our cues. It's about life and about perspective and second chances.

Cumpre sua proposta de ser leve, sarcástico e pra cima.

Perfeito para aliviar a tensão nestes tempos sombrios.

4 and ½ stars that are worthy the 5 stars mark.

3 stars.

The book is fast paced and yet I couldn't wait to reach the end, which, by the way, is the best part of the book, especially the last couple of pages.

3 and half stars. I figured almost all the ending and one character got me really annoyed.

3 and ½ stars.

I guessed the murderer pretty early on.

3.6 stars.

I listened to the audiobook but it was not the best choice for me. At times I didn't know what POV was I listening to.

3.5 stars.

It was a solid book and a fast read.

4 and ½ ☆

The wild thing I guessed back when I was 30% in turned out to be right. And I also guessed a major plot point. None of it took away the experience because the writing was excellent, with great rhythm and flow, the story revealing itself piece by piece.

Trigger warning for child abuse.

3 and half stars.

This may be one of the best books I've ever read.

This book doesn't have Earth shattering plot twists, but it's tense, thrilling, nail biting and everything a good thriller needs in my opinion. It made me feel, it put me on edge.

Riley Sager is getting better with every new book he writes. I can't wait for the next one.

4.5 stars.
A thriller.
A character study.
A tragedy.
This book was an experience.
I'm glad I opted for the audiobook version. It would take me much longer to read all those Shakespeare passages.

The final plot twist, what!?!

A very well written story of a bunch of unlikable characters.

I freaking loved this book!
The only reason it took me this long to finish it was because I was away on vacation.

That was such a fun, satisfying read, full of twists and turns and everything I love in a good mystery novel (with a touch of supernatural that made it even more interesting).
