An interesting read, one that showcases the importance of these studies, not only for the psychology aspect, but also to curb various incorrect understandings on the subject. I think more studies are needed to get a full grasp on how gaming affects us, however, I think studies like these are a great step into discovering how we perceive reality.
Absolutely incredible read. Junji Ito's style of horror is one where it gets you thinking about where the story will go. Quite a few chapters had me thinking that he was going to go one way with the story, only for him to go a totally different direction. Definitely a must read, and in my opinion, a must own.
The World According to Star Wars
As a Star Wars fan, I thought that this would be a fun read. Being able to relate how our world works to the grand world created in Star Wars, makes it that much easier to understand.
Cass R. Sunstein has done a fantastic job taking more complex ideas and connecting them with a world that we all know. It's well researched and decently well written.
My major qualm with it is how some of the chapters dragged. The book had a few sections that I felt had too much material crammed into. It threw off the overall jive of the book and I feel that it may throw others off as well.
Overall, interesting and well researched book, however I felt that a few chapters dragged on far too long.

The Importance of Singletasking
Devora Zack's explanation of why multitasking is merely a fantasy and not realistic really opened my eyes to how I do tasks on the day-to-day. From her well designed exercises to her real life examples showcase just how important it is to do one thing at a time.
The importance of singletasking isn't seen while we operate in our day-to-day lives, however, I found that reading the book forced me to think in the ways that I need to change my daily train of thought. I was a firm believer in the multitasking principle, however, I realize how shallow that thought process was.
I will definitely be modifying my thought process to be more in-line with the singletasking thought processes and believe that this change will make me more productive and a happier person.

The Ultimate Focus Strategy: How to Set the Right Goals, Develop Powerful Focus, Stick to the Process, and Achieve Success was a solid read. Martin Meadows uses his previous productivity writing to emphasize the importance in focus and how to attain focus in your everyday life. This strategy is designed to be used everyday with all aspects of your life.
Focus mixed with understanding what distracts you are important factors to consider and are constantly reiterated throughout. Meadows uses many examples, from his experiences and from his previously written books. This helps you reinforce the ideas of the book by using real world examples.
Overall, great book to read and is a nice view of how productivity can be attained with enough though, attention and of course, focus.

What a fantastic read! The book really got me thinking just how much I care about things that I really don't need to. It made it clear that by selectively caring about the things closest to you, you can live a more complete life.
Great read!
