I loved this book! I was searching for a book to read for Lunar New Year, and this was perfect. I don’t know much about ancient china but the world building in this was so well done, I can picture Pingkang Li so clearly. I NEED this author to have more fans so she gets more deals and releases more books. This book was firmly in my wheelhouse and bang in the center of my genre Venn diagram.
