I couldn't put this book down. It's an intricately written story about a Nigerian refugee - Little Bee, and her journey after she is released from an immigration detention center in London. Her story is told from two narrators - Little Bee and magazine publisher Sarah O'Rourke. As their lives intersect, you can't help but wonder what you would do if you were in Sarah's situation. A gripping and marvelous story.
Incredible memoir. I haven't had a book stay with me for so long since The Kite Runner. I'm still in awe of her grit and determination to study her way out of a tough childhood in Idaho and end up.... well, you read the rest!
