beautifully written. I wish I could write a more appropriate review but alas I cannot do it justice.

my daughter loved every single character...too hard to pick a favorite!

This was an absolutely awesome! I saw so many way to use the book. As a librarian I could use it to teach and talk about genres. As a writing teacher I could use it to teach and talk about the brainstorming of a story or how a story can begin in many different ways. Great book!

loved the clever way she incorporated all of the fairy tales in a bilingual way. My daughter's and I loved it!

My students enjoyed how silly the monkeys get right before bed time.

Easy to read to my 5yr old with beautiful pictures.

Great for showing rhyming words and going through the alphabet.

My two little girls really needed to hear this book more than once!

This a great book for writer's workshop offering synonym ideas for those “boring” overused words.

Although my daughters really like the story they still said they don't like to share. Oh well! We shared a great story nevertheless!

“There are always scary things that happen in the world. There are always wonderful things happening. And it's up to you how you're going to approach the world...how you're going to live in it and what you're going to do.” Jo Ellen Chapman
PERFECT!

“Great book” said my dog-loving tutee. She likes the way the dog gives his perspective about living with humans. She wants to read the whole series!

Loved it AGAIN! A wonderfully written historical fiction.

I wasn't too thrilled with this book. Actually quite surprised it made the list but I guess some boys will get into the mystery.

Now, I have a book to read to my babies every Sunday night explaining to them why I won't be there in the morning. Work, they still don't understand it :(

If you're a teacher, you can relate to this little girl's frustration!

Now, my girls want a cat. Too bad their Dad is allergic to cats!

Another nightly read for my kids. Their favorite is flipping the blanket over the characters.

My 5yr old and 2yr old LOVED this book and have wanted me to read it to them every night since.

Learned so much about the parade and the culture.

Loved the Spanish/English mix and the ending showing how to apologize sends a great message as well.

I like that we learn how to say “hello” in many different languages that some of our schools have students from some of these parts of the world. However, I felt like there wasn't a story line...it was missing something.

This was laugh out loud funny! The not so bright chickens came up with some funny things to describe the BIG chicken. Loved it!
