I gave this book a 2/5 mostly because it did not meet my expectations. With how much the author emphasized the bi King and gender fluid MC I was expecting a bit more exploration and turmoil when it came to gender. I myself know that figuring out one's gender is not simple. I was hoping to find a character I could relate to. It may just be me, but this feels quite watered down compared to the actual experience.
