Okay wow I did not expect this book to be so sad. To mark it under romance was evil. It was pretty short and simple but pretty memorable. I love the contrast between the start of the book and its end and how what used to be a source of joy for him turns into something that starts to annoy him. But even after being heartbroken, he still retains his kindness and wishes her well. And the foreshadowing with the whether was top notch, something that really stood out to me was how when he asks Nastenka her name, she says it took him long enough yet never asks his. Overall, I devoured this book in one sitting and really loved it but I don't think I'm ever going to reread it ;-;.
