Great book, despite the action packed goodness of it, it felt a bit of a slog to get to the end, which I did not feel in the first book in the series. A lot of twists that I didn't see coming, and left me wanting to immediately start the 3rd book.

Loving that each floor has a unique theme, this book, while good, was a bit confusing however. The layout of the floor was quite difficult to follow, however focussing more on what happens throughout and the character development proved best.

Still a great book, loving Carl's development in and out of the dungeon, and Katia proved to be a delightful character.

A great follow up to the first boo. Fun to see Mongo become more developed, and there were a lot of twists that I wasn't expecting. Looking forward to the next one!

An amazing start to a series, vivid descriptions of easily relatable concepts like the HUD, rpg-esque UI, and an awesome concept to get the ball rolling. I highly recommend this book to any "gamers" getting to reading. It's "Solo Leveling" mixed with an alien apocalypse.

An amazing read, that left me needing more.

Another great entry in the dungeon crawler series. I normally try to do these without spoilers, but I don't know how to review this one without them.

Very satisfying to see Carl finally striking blows with the syndicate, and glad to see him kill (and get away with it) that bitch Loita. The epilogue was definitely a great tease of things to come. I look forward to finding out more about Odette and seeing what antics Carl, Donut and Mongo get up to in the next book, especially now that they are back as just a threesome.

Katia will be missed though, she had some great development this book, and I felt like her leaving the team really felt like a blow to both Carl's and my own heart.
